Journalling is tough. I think we all know it’s a good habit to get into, but what do you write about? How do you stay consistent? And why bother? That’s what I talk about on today’s Get Fresh Friday – my birthday edition!

Firstly, my birthday was such a blast this year. Kev and I took the bus into Vancouver to go to the art gallery and hang out for the day. We had wine and cake pretty much everywhere we went…


and during the day, I was deciding on what meaningful topic I could share with you for today’s video. I settled naturally on something that’s been a huge part of my life for almost 15 years: Journalling.

Now, this may not sound like the most action-packed topic, but it’s changed my life. I’ve had a consistent journal-writing practice since 2001. My mom bought me a beautiful journal for my birthday, and one day I finally wrote in it. I haven’t stopped since.
